Thanks to everyone for waiting so patiently for the updates of SMP. We finally release SMP V2.1.2 on the morning of May 12, 2012 (EST).

Existing users - To download the updated version, please login into your account and install the new version available in your member area.

SMP V2.1.2 Release Update

Dear users,

We know you all have been patiently and eagerly waiting for our version update this month. We are almost there. To give you all a heads-up, following are the new features you all will be seeing this time:

1) InfusionSoft Integration - the integration highly in demand !! In the list of Aweber, GetResponse, and other Email Automation integrations, we are adding InfusionSoft to the list

2) 2checkout Integration - This new payment gateway is added to the group of Paypal, Clickbank etc.

3) Kunaki Integration - Integrating with Kunaki, now you'll be able to dispatch CDs & DVDs to your customers

4) Role Management - Now you'll be able to set roles for your employees to restrict their control over your account e.g. helpdesk manager, technical support, etc.

5) Web Based Installer - Now SMP can be installed easily in few quick steps, with all checks done automatically by the web based installer

6) Tweetow - Put your Twitter marketing on steroids! You'll be able to create and schedule your tweets with this new feature in SMP

7) Helpdesk (in Memberpress) - Now tickets can be raised from a Wordpress site as well !!

We are excited to announce the release of SMP V2.1. With this version we step ahead from most of our competition and SMP has started showing the possible dimensions it can be expanded/extended to. 1. Email Automation Module Enhanced

This feature alone washes away our entire competition.

With our “Behavior Monitor” email marketing technology everyone gets the right email and you sleep easy at night knowing you are maximizing your bottom line

It used to be really hard:

(i) to segment your lists into freebie seekers and paying leads,

(ii) to run appropriate autoresponders to the different segments, and

Behavior Monitoring Technology

Let’s use an example to understand the full capabilities of the feature:

Don’t you build a mailing list to segment your customers? We’re sure you do. Don't you feel restricted when you want to put some sort of automation in place such that when a customer buys a product, his or her account is automatically added to your "paid customers" list and removed from your "prospects" list?

Let’s take this example a little further...

Imagine, you want to add customers to 5 email or autoresponder (AR) lists that you host with "Aweber", 3 email lists that you own with "Getresponse", and 2 email lists that you host on your own server using "AutoresponsePlus", when they order.

Further, you want to remove those people from the prospects list as soon as they make a purchase.

Currently, with most of the softwares available in the market, one has to make these changes manually. But, with SiteManPro (SMP), you can set this up to work automatically! This is like moving your customers/subscribers to different mailing lists based on their buying behavior. 2. License Manager For Software Sellers

Do you sell software?

PHP Scripts, ASP, CGI, Desktop Software, WordPress Plugins, Joomla Add-ons…or any..ANY kind of software?

Didn’t you always want to protect your hard work so that it cannot be shared for free all over the Internet?

Good news! Now, you can control the license generation, distribution, and activation of your software products at a click of a button right from inside the SMP admin panel.

All you need to do is create a product inside admin panel, specify whether that product requires a license key or not, and if yes, how many times that license key can be used by one customer. Then use a simple API function (shown in the documentation) in your software/script to validate the license with your SMP server.

Let SMP does the rest. SMP will generate a unique license key whenever someone will order that product. It will also keep track of how many times that key is used and block it automatically if abused. It also records date and time when the key is used last and you can check the history of a specific license key anytime from the admin panel.

Yes, we use it ourselves for all our products sold from Invanto. Check out our pricing strategies and use them to model your products around them. We’re sure that using a license manager to control illegal distribution of your software products would add a huge stack of money to your bottom line profits. It sure did for us.

3. Paypal Sandbox Tester

Now, you can test your order system using Paypal Sandbox easily. Simply create your Paypal Sandbox account in Gateways settings, and assign that payment gateway to a gets product. When you make a test purchase now, it will interact with Paypal Sandbox.

This feature was requested by lot of users recently, so here it is

4. Lot of Minor Improvements & Bug Fixes

We have improved many minor things inside SMP admin area to make it even more user friendly. A lot of bugs have been fixed too. This is a continuous improvement process. So if you ever find a bug/issue in SMP, simply report it to us and we will do our best to map SMP an extremely stable platform for your business.

NEW LICENSING MODEL

With this release, we are changing the SMP licensing model from a one time fixed cost, followed by a small yearly upgrades fee to a fixed monthly subscription. We have received many requests in the past from people to offer an affordable plan for them to be able to use SMP. They were not able to pay $249 and upwards for our software. So we have come up with easy subscription plans starting at $11.95/mo.

How does this change affect our current users?

1. When you originally purchased SMP, you were entitled for one year free upgrades. So, if you have time left on your free upgrades period, you will receive the free upgrade to SMP V2.1 as well. For example, if you purchased SMP in Oct 2011, your free one year upgrade period ends in Oct 2012. Since we are in Feb 2012, you still have 9 months (Feb 2012 - Oct2012) to continue using the SiteManPro. After that, you will need to subscribe to a specially discounted subscription plan (you don't have to pay $19.95/mo which is the full price as shown on our pricing page) that we will send you after your free upgrades period expires. In other words, you don't have to do anything special right now, other than following the instructions laid out in point 2 below.

2. Since SMP V2.1 works using a license key, please request a license key for your install before you download and replace your existing installation files. Please email us at TechSupport@Invanto.com with the email id of your account on Invanto. Please keep the subject line of the email as "[SMP License Request: ]". We will verify your SMP purchase and add a license key to your account. Once you see a license key added to your account, only then download the latest software files from your account and upgrade your SMP installation to the latest version. Please allow up to 24 hours for license key generation after you have sent an email to us.

WHAT'S COMING UP IN NEXT VERSION

1. Tweeto – An Automated Twitter Scheduler

In Feburary (yes, this month itself), we are releasing a new add-on of SMP called Tweeto. This will allow you to manage your multiple twitter accounts within SMP and let you schedule your marketing tweet messages. Twitter is a powerful marketing tool. With this module, now you can schedule any number of tweets in advance and let SMP keep broadcasting your tweets on the pre set schedule.

There are very few tools that does this, and yet they charge a premium for this feature alone. But not any more. So, stay tuned!!

2. Shopping Cart

Next update of SMP will have a built-in full featured shopping cart. Using this, you will be able to run a shopping style web site. This will also be tightly integrated with WordPress and ExpressionEngine so that you can use your favorite CMS as front end (if you want to), and use your favorite site theme to run a shopping site.

3. Affiliate Management

In April 2012, SMP will also have a built-in full featured affiliate program management feature. After this you will not require a separate affiliate script to integrate with SMP. Rather, SMP will manage your affiliates. And the features we are including in this module will simply blow you away..wanna hear just one of them? Ok. This module will tightly integrated with Paypal Adaptive system so your affiliates are PAID INSTANLY and they don’t have to wait for their commissions. I Owe An Apology

Hello SMP Users,

I am here to make an apology for my absence from SMP and not providing any support for last one month. I will be very straight forward and honest about the situation. SMP was being managed single handedly by me. From the creation of software, to developing this website, to supporting technical issues, to building new features - everything was being done by just one person - me. I was getting overwhelmed and soon realized that SMP has outgrown from the capacity of one person. Since I was involved in 2 other projects too (CDNVault.com, and EESuite.com) you can very well imagine that my life was nothing but miserable.

I could see the ship sinking before it started sailing and so I decided to take sometime to build a team to take the business forward. After almost a month of planning, searching for the right resources, hiring people, and training, I am finally back with a good news.

SMP will now be taken care by a team of really smart people who will be helping me in different areas:

You probably have noticed already that support staff has started responding to many questions on the forum.

Also, I'm working on recruiting two additional full time programmers who will start developing new features of SMP by January 2012.

With all this, I truly hope to continue to provide you with a promising product and continuous support from now on.
